I was injured in the army in 1998 and have been recieving a monthly settlement ever since. Does anyone know if the government will just buy me out?

I keep getting phone calls from companies that buy structured settlements and they tll me I could lose a great deal of money if I wait is this true

Does anyone know of a company that buys structured settlements not backed by an insurance company. I was involved in a lawsuit where an individual is required to pay me an amount of money in $100 a month payments...at that rate he will be paying me for 6 years. Its not a lot of money, but something I could certainly use. I tried qa few places to sell these payments too, but no one works with this type of situation. Hed pays me through the local county attorney's office. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lets say I know a private investor who wants to buy my annuity or structured settlement, do we need lawyers involved in this, or do you need some kind of license to deal in these kinds of things. Like do employees for a firm like JG wentworth need some kind of license for their dealings.
